La Cura — Drop 02: The Bathroom Ritual for When You’re Just Being
5 min read
There is a moment before the day begins that rarely makes it into fashion stories. It’s quiet, inward, and unstyled — a scene with no audience, where time slows and care becomes instinctual. With Drop 02: La Cura, Antonina Poppy steps into that space, continuing its seasonless Capsule 00 collection with a focus on the bathroom ritual: soft, private, and completely unperformed.
If Drop 01: L’Attesa lingered in the kitchen with the intimacy of a still-warm coffee cup, La Cura shifts into something even more vulnerable — that transitional hour between shower and getting dressed, where damp skin meets clean towels and garments are chosen more by mood than plan.
Here, dressing doesn’t begin with a wardrobe. It starts with touch, light, and texture.
The collection itself reflects that shift inward. There’s a handwoven ivory crochet tank — as light as breath, intentionally close to the body. A white crochet bikini references Mediterranean holidays without leaning on nostalgia, while a minimal one-piece swimsuit offers soft structure without excess. Accessories are equally restrained: a mother-of-pearl cuff bracelet, designed with local artisans, and a white scrunchie that feels less like a hair tie and more like a gesture — something casually slipped on and never taken off.
There’s nothing loud in La Cura. It doesn’t want to be seen; it wants to be felt. These pieces are not about styling but about ritual. The tank isn’t layered — it’s worn alone. The bikini sits under a linen shirt, barely there. The cuff is left by the toothbrush, not as decoration, but because that’s where it was taken off. This is fashion for the moments no one sees — when you’re just being.
As with every drop in Capsule 00, the room shapes the mood. Each chapter in the series unfolds like a slow morning: one room, one ritual, one intention at a time.

One door closes softly; another opens. To accompany Drop 02, Antonina Poppy also introduces a curated playlist, 00 Capsule, by Phoebe Morgan — created to be played softly in the background as you move through your own morning. It’s not a soundtrack for dressing up. It’s for everything that happens just before.
Enjoy your white ritual. Press play.
